Testimonial Honour: Such was his immense impact and popularity at Station Park that he was granted a special testimonial match against his former club Rangers in 1985.

Ibrox Title Glory: Before moving to Angus, he famously played every single match in goal for Rangers during the 1974-75 season, helping the club secure its first Scottish league championship in 11 years and ending Celtic’s fierce domestic dominance.
