K-Park – Celtic
Celtic came into existence in June 2007 and didn’t waste any time in trying to sniff out silverware. In their debut season they reached the final of the Scottish Women’s Cup.
They may have lost out to Hibs but that is still a spectacular achievement. Their quest for glory didn’t end there as only 2 years later they went on to win the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup.
What followed in the next couple of seasons cup campaigns probably don’t need covered here. Let’s just say they were interesting. The less said about their second SWPL Cup final appearance the better.
All that aside, in their short time on the scene, Celtic have been pretty good value with 2 league runners up positions, 3 cup final appearances and 1 cup win.
