Interesting Fact: Sir Jackie Stewart isn’t just a 3-time World Champion; he is perhaps the most influential figure in the history of racing safety. After a horrific crash at Spa in 1966, where he was trapped in his car for 25 minutes, he led a crusade that transformed the sport—introducing mandatory seatbelts, full-face helmets, and proper medical facilities at tracks. He remains one of only two Scots to have won the Formula One World Championship (alongside Jim Clark).
