Jerry Kerr and the Law
Everyone knows the bit of trivia regarding Tannadice street so I won’t rehash that here. I’ll just concentrate on Dundee United FC and my Tannadice Park prints.
Tannadice sums up everything that is great about Scottish football. It is truly unique. The home of Dundee United doesn’t have 4 stands that are all different from each other. It has 5. Yeas, FIVE.
So unique is Tannadice that I did two designs of it. The first one takes in the monstrous floodlights that sit atop the corner of the Jerry Kerr stand (you get a great view of them and the stand from Dundee United Women’s Team home ground of Gussie Park). They are gigantic.
The second Dundee United poster is looking towards The Shed (or the West Stand if your are dull) and beyond that the Dundee Law that towers above the city of Dundee.
All my prints come in standard IKEA frame sizes but I suggest getting it in at least the 50x70cm size. It is beautiful.
Dundee United Women's Football Club
Most people think they are being smart when they tell you that there are two football grounds on Tannadice Street. They aren’t smart. They are wrong. There are THREE.
They are forgetting the home ground of Scottish Women’s Premier League Team Dundee United WFC, Gussie Park, which affords you an exceptional view of the Jerry Kerr Stand.
Head over to my Dundee United WFC shop to see prints, t-shirts and mugs of the SWPL team.
